For this post, I wore black shorts with a red shirt that is layered underneath a polka dot shirt. Layering is great for the fall and winter seasons because it's stylish and keeps you warm at the same time. I also paired this look with a black pumps, a pink statement necklace, and a black purse. I wore this outfit 2 ways. I wore it by tucking the shirt in, and without tucking it. This outfit can be considered casual dressy. It's perfect for going to lunch or even dinner with friends. The military trend has been going on for a while now. Recently, I've seen combat boots in every store I walk into. I picked this simple military combat look. I think it's pretty cool and edgy. This outfit makes me want to go on a hike in the woods. Or go camping in a nice cabin and spend the whole day hiking through the forest. It's perfect for the fall season.  Hello Friends,

Here is the new outfit post! I wore a white sheer skirt with a white and a hint of black blouse. I paired it with a black belt, black pumps, and a white purse. It almost gave the illusion that it's a dress! It's dressy but comfortable at the same time.       Avocado Facial Mask! 

Hello Friends,

Here is a new facial mask to try. It's a moisturizing mask for those cold dry days to make the skin glowing, smooth, soft, cleansed and hydrated. You will find these ingredients in your kitchen. 
1/2 ripe avocado, 1 teaspoon of honey, and 1 teaspoon of Greek yogurt.  Mash the avocado in a bowl, then add in the honey, and the yogurt. Mix well, and apply on face. Leave for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse.
Avocado has an amazing moisturizing elements. It also contains biotin which gives the skin a nice glow and helps prevent dry skin.  Avocado also helps synthesize the fat cells in the skin and contains vitamin E which helps prevent wrinkles by blocking free radicals damage. Honey contains alpha hydroxy acid which also decrease the appearance of fine lines and improves skin pigmentation. There is no deny that the Hermes Birkin bag is beautiful and luxuries. But would you pay the money for it? Do you think it's worth that much? I'm sure that's subjective. Before we answer this question,  here is some details about this famous fashionable bag. 
The Hermes Birkin bag came about when the chief executive of Hermes was in the same flight as Jane Birkin going from France to London. She told him that it was hard for her to find a nice bag to wear on the weekend. So he specially designed a bag for her that was named the Hermes Birkin Bag in 1984. 
This bag used to be costume made only and it had a waiting list for about 6 years. However in 2010 it became available in any Hermes store. The material it's made of varies depending on the costume and type of leather. Each bag can take an average of 48 hours to make since it's hand made. The price ranges between $9000-$150,000 dollars! 
So there is no deny in the quality and beauty of it, but would you pay almost half a mortgage for a bag even if money was no object?
Personally, I wouldn't! I just don't think it's right to spend that much money on a bag, even if I was a billionaire. I'd rather give that money to someone who needs it, or build something that can make a difference. That's just me! Let me know what you think? Have A Sweet Day!

My Style: Checkers Crop Top With Black Skater Skirt

Crop tops and checkers have been trending recently, so when I saw this crop top and how it combined both trends, I thought it would be cool to have. For today's post, I wore this checkers crop top that I got from forever21 and paired with a skater skirt from H&M. For shoes, I wore closed black wedges and paired it with black socks. Sneakers Hearts Design DIY!

 

 

 

Sneakers DIY

 

 

      Materials: 

                                                                            1. Sneakers

                                                                            2. Fabric paint (pink & White)

                                                                            3. Heart stencils

                                                                            4. Brush

                                                                            5. Scissors

                                                                            6. White glitter

                                                                            7. Fabric pen

                                                                            8. Spray glue

                                                                            9.Clear tape

 

 

 Directions:










  













1. Think of the design you would like to achieve. 
2.  Place the stencil where you want it to be, add tape around it to  hold it down.
3. Mix the colors you have to achieve the color you want. I had dark pink, so I added white paint to it to make it a lighter shade of pink. Then apply the paint using the brush on top of the stencil like you see in the picture above. 
4. Apply  about 2-3 coats. 
5. Remove the stencil with the tape, and you will get the shape you were looking for. In this case a heart shape design. 
6. Repeat the same process as above with a smaller heart stencil around the sneakers
7. Let it dry for about 3 hours.
8. Spray the Glue adhesive spray on the front of the sneaker then sprinkle the white glitter all over it, and let it dry for a few minutes.

Today's pick is this designer dress from the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2013 Couture collection. I like the color of this dress it's a very fall color. I also like the 3 dimensional texture of it. Today's post is fun & it's  more of a night outing with friends kind of outfit. I paired a black & white polka dot high waist-ed pants with studded red and black shirt. Actually, this shirt used to be a dress that I transformed into a shirt. I added yellow pumps, and black & golden metallic belt. Other accessories included my polka dot wallet and the red and black polka dots bow that I made, and I featured on the blog. You can see it here. Coffee Facial Scrub

 

 

 Hello Friends,

Here is a new facial scrub that I've tried. I really like the results. It only consists of two ingredients which you will find in your kitchen: 2 table spoons of Coffee grinds and 2 table spoons of olive oil. Mix well, then apply on face and scrub in circular motion. Once you are done, just rinse with water.

 The coffee grinds exfoliate the skin and get rid of dead skin which gives it a nice even glow. Coffee also has caffeine and antioxidants which tightens the skin (gives it a lift), removes excess oils, and cleans pores.  Coffee reduces puffiness and redness as well.The olive oil moisturizes the skin and makes it soft and smooth. It's also full of antioxidants that fights free radicals which causes aging and skin cancer.Try this Scrub and tell me how you like it!

Rainy Morning at the City Cafe

 

 

 

She woke up that morning feeling tired. She didn't have enough sleep. She stretched her hands and yawned. She got off of bed and went through her morning routine. She showered, made breakfast, blew dry her hair, put her make up on, and finally headed to the closet. It was an important day for her. She worked at a well known fashion magazine in the city. She had to impress her boss and client by her presentation. So she tried on a few outfits. Finally she decided to wear red. She thought it would be a powerful color and that it would make an impact. So she slipped on her professional red dress and paired it with her red heels. The moment she put it on, she felt confident with the way she looked which boosted her confidence towards her day!
She headed to work and when she arrived she had realized that she was an hour early. So she decided to head to the cafe near the building she works at. She thought to herself, "I'll get my coffee while looking over the presentation paperwork". The moment she sat on her chair, it started drizzling outside. Then the rain was pouring. She was distracted by the rain. She was sipping her first few sips of coffee while enjoying the city and the rain. Cars were passing by. People were running to work before getting drenched by the rain. Everything was moving fast but very slowly in her eyes. She couldn't remember when the last time was that she actually paid attention to the little things. She had been working non stop.  She was enjoying being in the moment, and she decided right then, that she would now take time to smell the flowers more often. A few minutes later, a handsome man saw her from outside the window of the cafe. He was taken by her beauty and elegance. He smiled and gazed at her for a few seconds. She smiled back and thought he was handsome. They shared a moment there. Then he continued walking. She felt a little dejected! Then she thought to herself she is being a little silly meeting someone through a cafe window! A few minutes later, he walked in the cafe, closed his umbrella and headed towards her.
"Can I join you" he said.. She felt startled at first in a good way. She didn't think this scenario would actually happen but she was happy it did. "Sure" she said. They were talking  and engaged in conversation until she had to go to work. He offered to walk with her since he had an umbrella, to protect  her from the rain. She agreed and was impressed with his sweet offer. They arrived inside her work building. "You look very beautiful," he said. Then he asked for her contact number, she gave it to him. Eventually, She headed to work with a big smile on her face!

White Floral Dress

Hello Friends,

I wore this dress while going out on the town. I went with my friend to see a movie and walked briefly around this beautiful pond. I wore this white floral dress and I paired it with blue sandals, white purse, and a pink belt. I loved the colors and details of this dress. They all mesh well together. Also, I got these beautiful blue sandals as a gift on my birthday, and that was the first time I wore them. They are actually comfortable. It's relaxed yet elegant look. I hope you like this post.
