Trendy Affordable outfits

How to wear Crop Tops?

You might think Crop tops are hard to wear because you have to be in shape to wear them. Well not this year because the high waist-ed shorts and skirts are in trend. The trendy way to wear crop tops is if you pair them with a high waist-ed skirt or shorts so minimal skin will be showing. My pick for this week is this cut out crop top that can be worn different ways. The first outfit is with a light pink skirt and heels sandals. While the second outfit is the same crop top with black shorts and white flowers flat sandals.  The first outfit is more dressy casual while the second outfit is more casual. The cut out trend, crop tops, High waist-ed sheer skirts, and high waist-ed shorts are in trend this year. Let me know which look you like more?

My Style: Pink White & Yellow

   Hello!

Recently I went with my friend to an amazing Thai food restaurant! The food and drinks were amazing! My dish was spicy but I loved it! I always like trying different food from different cultures. The restaurant decor was very authentic and gave the feel that it was on a Thai beach somewhere.

I love pink and yellow mixture especially in the summer time. I wore this lace pink dress that I paired with this pretty bag that I got from target and White sandal wedges. The belt was hand made by me. You can see the DIY on my blog under DIY :),
What do you think of the colors together? I hope you like today's post! Have a lovely day.

Beauty: Natural Resources for Healthy Hair

                                                   Natural Hair Treatments

I prefer using natural elements vs. chemical when it comes to beauty.  Today's topic is about caring for hair using natural products. I found out these recipes after extensive research.

For thinning hair:

 *  Mask 1: coconut oil + vitamin E + Castor oil
 *   Mask 2: Coconut Oil + Pure Honey.
You can get the Coconut oil, honey and vitamin E from any health food grocery store. Castor oil can be found in beauty supply stores.  Leave in for an hour. You can cover the hair with a shower cap so  the oil won't drip on your shirt. Then rinse thoroughly. Shampoo afterwards.

To eliminate dandruff:

 * Mix 1/4 cup of Apple cider Vinegar and 1/4 cup of  distilled water. Massage your scalp with this
solution. The vinegar will neuralize the scalp's Ph and eliminates build up of dandruff. Rinse thoroughly and shampoo.
 * Mix a little of olive oil and almond oil. Massage the scalp and hair with it. Then leave for 5
minutes, rinse and shampoo. repeat 2-3 a week until dandruff is gone.

To eliminate split ends:

* Mix 1 avocado + 2 tablespoons of egg whites + 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Mash the avocado and add the egg whites and olive oil to the mixture. Beat until it reaches a thick consistency. Apply to hair and cover with a shower cap. Leave in for 45 minutes, rinse and shampoo.

* Beer: Just apply the beer to your hair. This remedy does not require any other ingredients because the proteins and nutrients will bond to the hair and seal in the split ends. Pour the beer into a spray bottle. Spray your hair then rinse and shampoo.

To eliminate Frizz:

* Rinse hair with sparkling/carbonated water: shampoo and wash your hair, then rinse with carbonated water. The sparkling water eliminate frizz caused by humidity. It works due to its low PH.
* Apple Cider Vinegar and water: wash your hair and then rinse with equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water.

Accessories: Belt

                                      Peplum Waist Belt

These days I'm really into the peplum trend. I found this peplum leather metallic belt on ASOS. I thought it was genius. If you haven't noticed "in my style" but I'm really into metallic belts. I've also been looking for a nice peplum top or skirt but when I came across this belt, I thought wow, what an innovative idea. It has the combination of the two things I'm really into. So I think I will definitely end up getting it. You can pair this with a black shirt, or a black skirt. It would give the illusion that it's all one piece. Brilliant!

You can find this belt on ASOS.

Designer Couture

 Designer Dress

My today's designer pick is a beautiful lace dress. I love designer clothes but I can't afford to buy many of them yet. I just admire their beauty. Designers consider their collections as a moving art and I appreciate all forms of art. I love this dress for its complexity of the lace design and I admire the simplicity of its form design at the same time. This dress was from the Valentino Spring/Summer 2013 ready to wear collection. In real life, I would wear this dress to a formal ball event or a fancy dinner.
